wen i log into aol on dial up it blue screens saying the checksum is incorrect an gives this file as the problem pcc_pfw.sys this only happens on when i try to connect to the internet, everthing else works fine. i installed a new modem tried it in different slots reinstalled xp set the bios to optimized , its on a amd 1.2 soltek board with 512 ram xp home with sp1, is it a mainboard or processor fault? any help would be a real bonus cos im running outta hair to pull out thx

in all likelihood, its neither. the blue screen tells you the problem is with a file, and that file happens to belong to your anti virus program. turn if off, even uninstall it, and see if it goes away.
