strange problem with gta3 and vice!

i have installed gta3 and vice city on my computer. But they both have one strange problem..tommy is spinning around like crazy. i have tried to change some settings on the mouse and graphics but its still there..its even there if im reinstalling the game..plz help me anyone.

Is it just his model spinning, or is he moving and spinning so you can't actually control him. If its where you can't control him, its a mouse problem, or unplug any joystick/gamepad you might have plugged into your PC because its messing it up.

I can control him in a hard way..i can hold the w button to walk forwards but when i release it he starts spinning again..hes standing on his feet spinning so it looks like the world is turning around..

Its not a graphics issue then, its a hardware problem. Something is calibrated or plugged in right. Make sure nothing is pushed down when loading up the game and unplug anything that isn't the keyboard or mouse that you use to control your character. Make sure your A and D keys are like stuck/jammed either since you are using the wasd configuration.
