Updating

For the past couple of weeks, I have not been able to update my virus database (even though it is more than 14 days & recommends it). When I go to the Update Virus Database and click "update now" a message comes up "automatic connection to the Internet could not be established. Manually establish a connection to download update file". However, even when my browser is open manually and I am definitely connected, I get this same message. I've been using AVG for a very long time and this is the first time I've had this problem.

it happens periodically. if a reboot doesnt fix it, just uninstall it and download the full program again, and update that.
