Hehehe, I survived. Yep, after a total of six hours, I finally finished upgrading the forums. And I think it's well worth it - this new script rux0rs 
If you see any strange bugs or glitches (and ya, I'm gonna fix the posting icons later today), be sure to let me know by replying to this thread.
Right now, I need to get some MAJOR sleep - the likes of which even God has never seen, hehehe... see ya guys this afternoon, and enjoy

Might be some bugs, I'm not sure which copy of UBB6 you picked up...Near the orig. release, there was a bug, then it got re-uploaded to Members area...

Glad you folks liked it... I find it very fast and functional, and pretty soon we can have all the old hacks back.
And Yak, I know about navaho's blunder on the corrupted upload last Thursday, hehehe ... I redownloaded the UBB6 zip from the Members Area last night at 11PM just to make sure... still encountered a couple of bugs, but I squelched em both. And still on the lookout for more bugs. It is, after all, a new script, hehee.
I'll be doing some cosmetic fixes this afternoon, as well as fix some broken/wrong links in the menu. The first hacks for UBB6 will be coming out this weekend, and I'll be very selective in choosing only the ones that the site really needs - none of that flashy custom user text stuff and its ilk ever again, hehehe...
Now excuse me while I go pig out and go back to sleep...

Hehehe, Member #1 is Admin5, which is the default login used to access the UBB Control Panel and set up the configurations. I have deleted it as a security procedure, so that leaves us with Member #2, which is me

It just looks like different pics to me and you eliminated member #1? Well congrats it was a very smooth move over. Maybe blizzard should talk to you when they upgrade the servers or patch something. the second row of message icons is off centered, thats my bug report. I am not very knowlegeable of cgi and stuff and yer site is already really fast so i cant tell about any speed up but it sure as hell isnt running poorly 8) good job.

Hehe thanks ... the fact that you didn't notice much cosmetic difference between this new version and the old one means I succeeded in what I was doing for more than five hours last night, hehehe
I am now cleaning up the rough edges of the forum upgrade, and yeah, I am fixing the message icons right now

Rightnow im half and half... i like it and yet i hate it..... lol.... i like it except for a few minor things.... such as now we r rted by stars instead of how many posts we put and other things...but other then those few minor things its prety cool.

This is weird A lot different then the other layout, but I guess I can get used to it. I like the # of posts on the left instead of the stars, but whatever. Anyways, it loads faster..good job

With UBB6, there is no more Admin5, or default admin account when setting up for the first time...I like that..

I'm really liking what I see.
Found myself a new default icon too.
When the old stuff (avatars etc) comes back this place will be about 75% better looking than it was.

when I went to change my avatar to custom, when it was on custom, I saw your avatar laggy. Then IE died, so when I came back to see if my changes were saved, it showed a pic of my gerbil avatar. I dunno, non important glitch i guess.

Think i found a bug  when ever i use the "list all forums" link te only forum section that comes up is (OTS news & updates) i get here by using canis' link to the forums.........

hahahahaha i feel really bad now, i just read laggys first post in this thread and it mentions the bug i yelled at him about, a few posts down from it. Ohhh well :P. Hey is that it for the Graemlins? I want a couple of the message icons like especialy the one i used for this post and also all the other smiles, not the windows logo, questions mark, skulls, and junk though.

I could add some more, but I run the risk of having too many smilies that won't get used anyway. And hey, the windows icon is pretty 1337
Anyway, I'll be adding a custom smilie list if someone ever develops a hack for it in UBB6.
And yeah, still lotsa enhancements coming up - like the preview post feature and the custom ranks. All in good time
