ohh final fantasy lol. noone plays that anymore cuz its isnt final fantasy.
they need to rename it to final slut for fanboys. cuz it inst a good game anmore is just half dressed girls walking round.

I think you've only played Final Fantasy X-2.
All the other games, everyone was comletely dressed, and hell, half of the final fantasy games didn't have the technological advancements to even make their outfits raunchy

I look at it this way. Everyone could be naked in the game and FF would still be one of the greatest series ever. If anyone finds themselves attracted to a 3D character design has some major issues...or is desperate for a mate...
anyway, I like FF7, FFX, FFX-2 and FFT the best.

ive played all the FF games.
and the only reason the fan base is so big is cuz most of the fans have never played another half-decent rpg.
1. final fantasy games have crap storys compared to other games.
2. the last game had no real story at all. omg lets walk around for half the game and then remember our purpose in the last 3 minutes.
3. and umm youd be suprised at the number of final fantasy ads that are just that rikku chic

I have played many RPGs and the Final Fantasy series is without a doubt the best there is. There is no comparison. Final Fantsay VII is the best game ever.

Here is my take on RPGs and Final Fantasy.
I have played MANY RPGs in my lifetime so I think I have some say on this.
I have also played every Final Fantasy extensively except FFX because this is where my respect and interest for Final Fantasy declined. [ Lolz, please don't think because I have Sephiroth as my avatar that I am being biased, Arguably, Sephiroth is just one of the best imaginary characters ever made ]
The Best RPGs to me are the following:
1. FF7 and FF6 are in a tie here. If I had to have a definitive number 1 choice I would say FF7 has a slight edge over FF6. In all aspects of the RPG world FF6 and FF7 are parallel [ I.E. Storyline, length, gameplay ] except for the Materia system in FF7 just gives that game the miniscule edge.
2. Chrono Trigger
Those three games revolutionized the living HELL out of RPGs and are the best to me.
Also I'd like to take the time and say here that if you think Graphics is major or minor factor in the quality of a game, I think of you as someone who shouldn't even say they play RPGs. Graphics are essential, but as shown by FF6 and Chrono Trigger, Graphics plays a VERY miniscule role in the overall rating of an RPG. [ Yes, I understand if it's like 10 bit graphics. But anyway, It's kind of like Super Mario. No one cares about those graphics, that game is just amazing. ]
I have lost all respect for Final Fantasy / Squaresoft now except for Nobuo Uematsu.
They have severely SLUTTED [ I use that aggresively ] the final fantasy series and all it stands for. RPGs are all about playing alone and discovering worlds and problems and mazes and storyline, kind of like an interactive book. Final Fantasy is now online and has DESTROYED all that is sacred to an RPG.
Lastly, I will say that FFX-2 is the worst RPG ever EVER made. It's storyline is horrible, it has 3 characters, Z-E-R-O Aeons/Summons to call, Z-E-R-O Limit Breaks [ Or anything that is similar ], and finally a very bad plot. Limit Break/Overdrives and Summons are SACRED SACRED Trademarks to Squaresoft.

I won't ever play FFXI, for the single fact that you have to pay to play. Sex sells everywhere, whether it's video games, television, or music. There's no way to get rid of it. Personally, I don't sit there and stare at Rikku for hours on end.
I probably play FFVII more than any other FF game with FFT right behind it. I play FFX quite a bit just for the Blitzball. I've beaten it enough times already, and I forgot all about FFX-2. I'll have to get back into it.

I've completed Final Fantasy I, II, IV, V, VI, X, and I'm working on X-2
I've also played FF III and VIII, but never finished them.
I really like Final Fantasy X-2 because there is a lot more freedom in chosing missions to complete, places to go, and seperate paths to take!

final fantasy has some of the most intense and indep playing strategies final fantasy 6 & 7 are some of the rpgS ever made!!!
