Monitor trouble

I tryed to play castle strike but my screen goes all black and the power button on my monitor turns yellow. Does any one no what the problem is plz help.

It seems that your video card either has a driver problem, or it may be over heating. First try downloading the newest drivers for your video card and the latest version of Direct X from microsoft.. If this doesn't work, try removing the side panel off of your case on your computer and see if it works correctly.

I think it might be my monitor because it is a very old monitor. Where can i download the newest drivers

What vid card?
For Nvidia cards look here
For Ati cards look here
The monitor shouldn't be the problem unless you use a too high resolution or frequency.
