Choosing the right monitor...

Hey, I'm going to be upgrading my system soon. I was wondering which monitor I should buy. I currently have a ViewSonic A72f ( here ), and I am very pleased with ViewSonic's color quality and overall value.

I am a gamer, so I know for one thing that I do need a CRT. And I know that there may be somewhat better monitors than ViewSonic out there, but I would like to stick with this brand unless there is need for me to be conviced otherwise. I'm looking for a monitor at or greater than 20" viewable. I am currently looking at the Graphic or Pro Series monitor from ViewSonic, ( here ). Which model number should I buy?

This is a tough decision for me. The major difference is that the Graphic Series uses a technology called Shadow Mask and the Pro Series uses a technology called Aperture Grille. Which one is truely better?

Any help is appreciated. =)

id recommend a samsung or viewsonic. both tend to be quite nice and reliable. id also suggest a flat screen.

shadow mask is the standard for all crts. aperture grille is newer, and pricier. the latter would probably be a bit better, but the difference wouldnt probably be noticeable for gaming.
