windows 98 boot disk doesnt detect

OMG to many problems. this is hell.
I figured out how to get it to boot from the A:
but guess what. it cant seem to find the boot disk thats inside A:
i know that the boot disk works becuase it booted from A: like five minutes ago when it wouldnt etect my hardrive. OMG
I HATE THIS CRAP its pissing me off and i cant fix it. WTF is with computers that noone can make a thing that worx. why doesnt boot disk work. it claims it sint bootable.
im gonna rip my hair off.. grrrrrr
ohh and umm dont get angry with my multi posts cuz im gonna be angryer than you anyway.
and sorry in advance if i rip anyone head of. jus dont get to close

well, aside from faulty hardware, which we can get to later if necessary, make sure the floppy is at the top of the boot order in the bios. also, you may want to get a new bootdisk from online, if yours is old.

actually thats what im using a boot disk i got from bootdisk.com
since also how do i remove scratches from my disk. i found a nice upgrade version of windows xp but it says my windows 98 disk isnt a windows disk. has to many scratchs
