Video swapping

I was just wondering, I have a vidoe card in my IBM and one in an older packard bell. I was wondering if I could use both and maybe speed up my video. If I could use both, man what a great world. Like at the same time. Maybe I could solder the thngs together. Just kidding. You see I bought Aliens vs. predator 2 and when I load it it says that it can't use the d3dl or something. So I haven't even got to play it. It was only 3.75 though. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Well, the technology you're wanting isn't available anymore. The only "real" consumer based cards that used that "double up" was the old Voodoo 2 SLi. The SLi could be used with two cards and basically "doubled up" for performance.

As for you, the best option is probably to get a new card. There's some cheaper cards these days that still do thier job effieciently.
