WordPerfect 10 is running very slow & then freezing, "not responding". On a network, two other Emachines having same problem, no other programs doing this. Have checked for errors, defragmented, cleaned disk, ran Norton Antivirus-no viruses found. Do not know what else to do, please help. Have MS Windows XP 2002 Home w/ service pack 1; Celeron CPU 2020 GHD, 2.19 GHz, 128MB Ram, the C drive has 37.2GB and only 4.13 GB in use.

Have you downloaded all the updates and patches for WordPerfect 10 yet?

I did dowload updates & patches a couple of months ago, didn't think there would be any additional ones that soon, I think I downloaded all up to 3 if I remember correctly.

If you look at the Corel WordPerfect downloads site I posted, there are at least four "hot fix" downloads and a "Service Pack 4." If you don't have those, go get them.

Actually, Word Perfect 10 (running on XP) has a problem running on networks. Its a software problem that apparently doesn't have a solution as of yet. I don't know, I spent 4 hours on the phone with a few Word Perfect techs who couldn't figure it out (NO NOT THAT) but it appears there is a flaw with the program as far as networks go. I don't know if this helps (obviously doesn't), but I started with Word Perfect 4.0, and it took me until 10 to figure out it was just crap. LOL. Good luck!
