last post? D-link product wont work

ok i got the computer working .. all is fine now. expt.
d-link wireless G network card.
It worked like 3 days ago. now it wont detect. The computer says it isnt there. Ive tried it in 2 diffrent PCI slots. it just wont even turn on its light.
This is the biggest problem becuase its the only part jot under any kind of waranty. i got it as a chrismas gift and i think it only got 1 month waranty.

This may be a stupid question, but have you completely uninstalled it and any drivers and tried booting with it in the slot to see if windows detects it then?

ohh yah. it seems that windows xp is really gay and cant assign drivers like windows 98 does. problem fixed
