monitor display/ video card

My monitor display yellow stains on the screen(whatever you call it) and every time I go watch movie it's showing the pixels (it shows the dots and all that). I've tried using other monitors but I still have the same problem. Is this a video card issue? do you think my video card is not compatible? or do i have to reinstall the driver?

if its the same on other monitors, yes, its the video card. it might be the drivers. it might be overheating, or dying. you dont say what your gpu is, but nvidia put out new drivers this month.
