Hi people,
when I double click on the 'my computer' shortcut key it basically doesn't work anymore. Additionally, the 'explore' function (right clicking on 'Start' menu) doesnt work too. Could anyone pls help me to restore these functions.

usually a reboot takes care of it. if not, a scandisk with error correction, defrag, then scan for both viruses and spyware.

thanx redwench ;-)......I did all that and it didnt work...HOWEVER, I did download a programme called NoAdware and it cleared up the problem. I think it was a piece of spyware that froze those functions.

funny, scanning for spyware didnt work, but running a spyware program fixed it? i am lost.
