Only IE & mail via Winproxy

Hi there,
Two days ago everything stoped working through winproxy ... I have no idea why...
I got IE & Outlook working again by telling them the adres of the server.
I can get MSN to work if I set it up to use a SOCKS 4 proxy ... but I never needed to do that. It just worked transparant.
But I can't get any games to run online, or Ventrilo (voice chat) does not work either.
I noticed something strange though. When I did not gave IE the adres of the proxy server and told it to locate the adres itself I saw it was trying to connect to some 66.**.**.* port ... but my server is 192.168.1.1 ...
I hope someone can give me an answer.
