Can not access bios

I have an OMNI Tech PII PC, model OTC-80001BX, CPU PII400 that I purchased off the state recycle store. The motherborad is an Intel SE440BX-2. I have installed Windows 2000 Professional on it. I purchased more memory which didn't work (as I got the wrong kind) so I upgraded the BIO and then realized it was the wrong type of Memory. I returned it and purchased the correct kind, installed it and confirmed that it was recognized through Device Manager. Now here's the weird part, prior to upgrading the memory or flashing BIOs more likely, the type of Motherboard flashed on the screen at boot up as did the amount of memory. I didn't pay any attention at the time as to whether I was also given the information on how to access the BIOS. Now when I boot up, I get no information about the Motherboard or Memory, which is actually ok, as what I really want is how to access the BIOs setup program. I've tried every F key as well as the Del key and can't get in. The Omni Tech people have been bought out by a new company and though they acknowledge this particular pc, because I bought it second hand, they claim to no longer offer support. I have bought a 40 GB hard drive that I wanted to install in addition to the other hard drive in the system. For some reason, through device Manager I can visually see the hard drive, but there is an error and the pc has labeled this drive 1 and there is an error symbol next to it. I'm thinking I need to take a look at the plug-n-play setting in the BIOS setup program but I CAN"T figure out the key to access it. Please help! I have spent a couple hours reading the Motherboard specifications and it has info on the BIOS but not how to access it.

Thanks

you can try using a bios recovery PCI card. But they're expensive as hell.

if its an intel board, its the delete key. anyway, find the cmos jumper (consult your manual) and follow the directions to reset it.

That's the problem, I don't have a manual and can't get one, all I have are the Motherboard Specifications.
