graphics problem on sof2

hey all. i bought a radeon 9800 pro and have little problem with it. i play sof2 alot so i need 2 fix this. when i minimize sof2 then resume it the brightness goes real dim for some reason. this doesnt happen wid the 3.9 version but does with and versions higher. id like 2 get the 4.4 version workin without the brightness change. i was told that it was a graphics card setting. any ideas

I hate to sound obvious or anything.. but your best bet might be to not minimise the window...
