AMD 850 Athlon, Bus speed support?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hello all,

I have an AMD 850 mhz proc with a MSI k7t Turbo2 motherboard. I know the motherboard supports a bus speed of 133 if i remove the jumper but I don't know if the proc supports that speed.

I've googled and I can't seem to find the answer. I'ld like to overclock my pc using fuzzy logic 4 but I fear messin up my computer. I seem to have viral fingers and like pavlovs dogs I hate opening up my computer. Anyone know if that proc supports bus speed of 133?

Thanks

The only speed your processor supports is 100MHz. Overclocking isn't supported at all. You could try to run it at 133MHz, but nothing is guaranteed with overclocking.

You sent me a PM saying your processor is running at ~60°C. You should really get better cooling before you start overclocking.
