Hey, im sure there has been another topic before about this subject, but anyway, how can i open port 6112 of my D-Link router? I want it to create games on online games and others being able to join such as diablo or warcraft. Do i have to open anything else or do anything else other than port 6112?

thanx

To join Diablo I and Warcraft II: BNE games, you might have to forward port 6112 UDP to your computer so you don't get the latency error message. To join Diablo II and Warcraft III games, you don't have to do anything in your router's settings. To host Warcraft III games, you need to forward port 6112 TCP to your computer. To host Diablo II Open Battle.net games and TCP/IP games, you need to forward port 4000 TCP to your computer. Go here to find out how to configure your router to host Warcraft III, Diablo I, Warcraft II: BNE and Starcraft games:

http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=1332

The steps on that page will work for all of those games. To host Diablo II games, follow the same steps for another port forwarding entry, except choose port 4000 as the port and TCP for the protocol.
