outlook express not responding

I'm running xp profressional and I'm having a problem with outlook express not responding. The cursor arrow becomes an hour glass and it just hangs there.

did you do a scandisk, defrag, and reboot?

I have been trying since early AM. Slow and not great results.

I have tried to scan outlook and it responded that it could not do it since the pass word is not correct.....

well, then OE isnt your problem really. i do believe youre due for a repair installation, if not a format.
