first of all i have norton internet security 2004, norton antivirus 2004, and adaware. everything has been updated and has been ran. my NAV 2004 keeps popping up with a high risk virus alert named bloodhound.packed. it says that it is unable to repair(i read that it cant repair because NAV cant identify the virus so it doesnt know what to repair, but i may be wrong). When i click the ok button, it just pops up again and again...... Please help.

i have completely uninstalled windows and msn messenger. i also clicked show all hidden files and folders and went to internet options delete files and all offline content and one of the two seemed to work SO FAR. thank you anyway. i actually would still appreciate any info i could get on what just happened.(ha ha) thanks

just google the virus. that should give you plenty of info.

if an AV says it cant repair, that usually means its found the actual virus, rather than an infected legitimate file. of course, if the flag is erroneous, youll get that message as well.
