I fear that all these upcoming MMO games are gonna bomb. All Im hearing about WoW beta is how much it sucks. I played Lineage 2 beta and my god i wanted to hang myself. I beta tested and bought City of Heroes, it lacks content but the gameplay is just awesome. I probably wont play it for a long time though.

My expectations of EQ2 are pretty grim. The only thing Im looking forward to is The Matrix Online, even more now that Sega is Co-publishing it.

all betas suck. thats why they are betas.......

I dont mean in terms of bugs/problems. The game itself just sucks. You can get a pretty good idea of how gameplay will be in a beta. If I had bought Lineage 2, I would have been pissed.

I still havent tried WoW yet, so Ive yet to make an opinion on it. The only positive things Ive been hearing about it are from gaming mags/sites, the gamers themselves are the ones giving the negatives.

Several top end EQ guilds have left EQ for WoW beta, that says something.
And don't bet on Matrix Online, it looks like a flop to me.

How can matrix online look like a flop when theres practically no details on it? That like saying Diablo 3 will be a flop.
