Im currently only using win xp, however, after trying to install a program that changes your startup images, surprise! it thinks i have 2, one of which is "line)"

my boot.ini reads
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
(Backup Line)

Yes i attempted to run bootcfg /delete /id 2... no success anyone have any ideas?

You have only one Operation System, don't install it and if you already did then uninstall the program.

When installing special programs always read the read me file first.

I allready unistalled the program, however the problem remains that i have to select a operating system at boot, eventhough one is nonexistant.

Check http://sft-cyber.com/Bootini.htm
and google search bootini errors for many more answers.
