trojan.startup virus removal

We keep getting a foreign start page (search for whenever we open our web. I've tried using tools, then changing the start page, but it overrides everything. Please advise...

thats just a browser hijacker, not a trojan. spybot will clear out most hijackers, although there are a few stubborn ones.

Thank you for your help on our runner error...spyware thing. You were great. We do have Spybot, but this ugly thing just stays on anyway.

first, try updating spybot. if you already did that, go into tools in spybot, then browser pages. follow the directions.
