Powerpoint 2002 does not do video clips

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: donorrpl

Running Windows XP with a fresh install. Now Powerpoint 2002 will not play video clips as it did prior to my reinstall. Any help would be appreciated. Presentations work in other computers, the video clips play in Windows Media Player, but the screen remains black when I attempt to use my system.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You might need update several files and add the service packs on your Win XP, visit microsoft homepage.

Also make sure that all the required drivers for the motherboard are installed, Windows installs it equivalent drivers which will work but are not necessary the correct ones, every motherboard has it's own drivers for the 'chipsets'.
The motherboard driver can be downloaded from the manufacturers homepage, normally via support.
