Maybe some people don't like it when a big deal is made of their birthday... 
Also, I don't think Bix is the kind of person who would make a thread about himself telling everyone that it's his birthday.

Good point(s). I'm just saying that he could subtley (sp?) mention it in a few of his posts. I know I'd be excited if my birthday was coming up.

Again, I don't think he's the kind of person to announce that it's his birthday... do you announce your birthday to everyone each time it comes around? Announcing your birthday to everyone, even subtly, is IMHO basically saying "pay attention to me" and isn't cool.
Oh well, if you like to be excited about other people's birthdays, I won't stop you.
