I litterally watched it with my jaw open. Theres the Zelda we have been waiting for

Posted by: Outlaw

Cool video, it looked better than I expected. Is that still for the cube?

Posted by: armystud0911

WOW!!! It would be cool if it came out for PC but I doubt it will for a while.

Try more like not at all...

The Halo 2 game presentation was pretty sweet to.

Posted by: armystud0911

Most likely yeah, (I can dream can't I?). I hadn't seen any solid Halo 2 demo till I saw that, just a few screenshots, I'm sold!

Posted by: Bunmiadefisayo

OMG SKHN i dont knwo what to say but...THANK YOU!!!

I was jsut watching that with my eyes bugged out of their sockets. Gawd, maybe i will get a GameCube after all!

Posted by: Radiator

Great movie indeed. Looks great. Cool sword sounds and graphics. hopefully a good buy when it comes.

Posted by: SKYHN

Out on PC? What makes you think Nintendo would suddenly publish games on PC?

I thought maybe it wasnt for gamecube at first cuz it looks so damn good, but it is.

Posted by: Bunmiadefisayo

What other system could it be on SKYHN?

Posted by: SKYHN

None. Nintendo doesnt publish games for other systems when they have their own. Gamecube and Gamecube alone.

Posted by: Cheese

Ever play Starfox Adventures? Gamecube is capable of putting out great looking games.

Posted by: SKYHN

Yeah, theres lots of games on gamecube that look really good. But nothing like this. This is the Zelda they showed 3 years ago that everyone wanted.

Posted by: Wacheif

ZELDA IS JUS GONNA OWN!!!! O_O lol i cant wait for this one

Posted by: FadedMaster

I almost crapped myself seeing that. I'm so glad I've got a GC now. Sheesh, finally a game coming out that'll stop making me regret the purchase of GC. Heh.

Posted by: Cheese

Wind Waker was worth the purchase of Gamecube alone IMO. Personally I loved the look of it, and it turned out to be a great adventure as well. This new one looks promising, just hope it doesn't let us down.

Posted by: Bunmiadefisayo

Cheese- has ANY zelda game let us down at all?

FadedMaster- Aww come now. I dont own a GC but i have played gaems on it that were incredible looking; Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil 0, Soul Calibur 2. I'm sure there are more but thats all the games i have played. I havent even played Winwaker yet, the shame!

Posted by: SKYHN

Lots of people say that Zelda 2 was crap. I liked it though. I think they didnt like it though cuz it was a side scroller, they tried to combine Zelda and Metroid styles into 1 game.

I would say the best looking games on cube are: Resident Evil Zero, Rogue Leader, Rebel Strike, Eternal Darkness, Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, Wario World, and Mario Sunshine(Im probably forgetting a few).

Posted by: FadedMaster

I loved Windwaker, they did a good job giving it length, ya know, much unlike many of the new games... all graphics and no play. Anyways, I didn't mean that there aren't any games good for GC. I got GC 'cause I read somewheres that the Resident Evils were to be a GC exclusive. Anywho, there hasn't been any good looking games recently... as compared to X-Box (which I don't have )

Posted by: SKYHN

Gamecube is getting some of the RE games exclusively. Zero, The remake of the original and the 're-releases' of 2 and 3 are already out. Resident Evil 4 is the next one their getting exclusive. PS2 got Dead Aim and Outbreak, and their getting Outbreak File #2. I think the deal was that Nintendo got the remakes and the main series of the games, while they would be doing spinoffs on other systems. Theres yet to be one for Xbox.

Posted by: Bunmiadefisayo

Whats gonna happen to us PC gamers? Why on earth wont capcom release some of their games on PC? In fact i really want a Zelda game on PC. Nintendo can just make their own OS that plays thier games strictly and nothing else, i would buy it

But seriously, i cannot bring myself to buy a new console after i got my Dreamcast. maybe the DC2, just maybe!

Posted by: SKYHN

The same thing thats been happening for the last 8 years. They probably dont want to invest those resources in it, when their strictly a console developer/publisher. Capcom and Nintendo do just fine without developing or publishing games for PC. Theres really no point for them to start getting heavily into PC.

Resident Evil 2 and 3 are on PC, if you want them.

Posted by: SKYHN

Argh, I just read that the scheduled release for this game is next year. I want it this year

Nope I'll be right there in line for this one too. Maybe I should have rather said I hope Nintendo doesn't delay the hell out of it like usual. I don't think I could take another Zelda delay on top of the Halo 2 delays.

Posted by: Ocean

i will buy the gamecube zelda pack. ooh tunic green gamecube.

Posted by: Bunmiadefisayo

Bah! Forget Halo 2! Im waiting For Half-Life 2

Posted by: armystud0911

As is everyone else who's played a game on their computer in the past 5 years. lol

I was really let down by Wind Waker. Liked the graphics and the story seemed interesting enough, but sailing around in a boat and hunting down that jumping fish to fill out my map mucked it all up. Got so disintersted (dont know if thats a word) that I never finished it despite being pretty close to the end. Yuck.

Metroid and Mario were great (especially Metroid), but I was really disappointed with Zelda on the cube

Posted by: SKYHN

You hated wind waker cuz your a Land Lubber

I loved the sailing in WW. It was something different for a change.

Posted by: armystud0911

New concepts are always welcome by me for games, I loved windwalker, though I don't have system.

Posted by: RAcastClarke

Mmm..Half Life 2...that will be good to have whenever the heck it comes out.

I am also waiting to see if the following games are ever made:

Bad Dudes 2
Pefect Dark 2
Jagged Alliance 3
Master of Orion 4
Steel Battalion 3

Posted by: Bunmiadefisayo

isnt Stell Batallion that game that hs its own $200 gamepad and stuff? Ridiculous!

Posted by: RAcastClarke

It comes with the ultmate mech controller- 40 buttons at least, along with rudders, pedals, etc.

It is awesome. It owns all other mech games.

For the first time in a long time, I'm torn in half:

Part of me LOVES the new graphical style...

but part of me is very upset they have abandonded the cell shaded style (although it was never cell shaded, but for ease, we'll call it that anyway).

I need to know what happens after WW, they kinda left it, how does hyrule get built again? how did ganon escape, etc etc.. It feels very much like this new one is going to come after MM, and might explain why the hero of time never returned... who knows?

all I know is that I'm getting a copy of this game on release regardless, Zelda is a way of life

Posted by: SKYHN

Wind Waker called for Cel Shading because of the type of game it was. While it was an RPG, it was more of a younger style of game, not saying its kiddie, but the overall feel of the game was like for younger kids, but everyone could enjoy it. This upcoming zelda is a more serious one and needs to look serious.

Thats not to say that cel shading automatically pushes games into younger audience, because theres several games that contridict that(like XIII). Doom 3 Cel Shaded would never work. It would be a totally different game.

Posted by: Bunmiadefisayo

Darn! i never even played Majora's Mask y'know! I really have to go get that game somewhere. Cell shading is cool though, my goodness i loved xiii. It was so unique to me and the comic book style was just simply...nice!

I dunno though, i dont want to go buying a N64 just to play MM, i guess i'll have to use an emulator. I liked WW cause of Link's eyes mainly; now they are expressive. The one thing Nintendo should never try to do is introduce a voice for him though. Once they do, thats it!

Posted by: armystud0911

Yeah, I agree, I think that the soundtrack could have been a little more intense sounding in the demo.

You can get both the N64 and NES games for the GameCube.. or at least you can in europe... It's part of a bundle when you buy a cube and copy of zelda... I've got it, an it's great, cos now I can play them all...
