What were you thinkign when you made this post?

Reading the title, one would think that there would be something wrong with your ps2 (AS YOU POSTED 4 TIMES ALREADY IN CAPS)...anyway...what relevance does this have to anything? Why didn;t you post this on one of your previous posts?

And please, do not type LIKE THIS. IT IS VERY ANNOYING.

Look, I sent you a PM the third time I had to merge your topics. Stop posting new threads on the same topic. I'm sick of merging them all. Just reply to the one that's already made.

Thanks Spider! You made everyone's lives easier...

I had this same problem and decided to fix it myself. I found some info online how to do it. If your PS2 is still under waranty dont bother. If its not and your up to it you can give this a try, it worked for me. Oh ya,
(I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF IT DONT WORK OR YOU REALLY MESS SOMETHING UP.)
Remove the screws from the bottom of the console. Remove the void if removed sticker. Flip it back over. Pull the cover off. Remove the piece of tape holdinging the small wires in place( dont unplug the wires!!) Set the lid off to the side. Eject the disc tray. Turn power off. Remove disc cover. Towards the back of the cover you'll see a small white gear. Turn gear 2 clicks either clockwise or counter clockwise. Replace disc cover. try game, If it works try DVD, if it works try cd, if it works your done. Put it back together and enjoy. If not set gear to original position and turn 2 clicks opposite direction. Try game, DVD, and cd. If it work your welcome if not sorry. You'll probablly need a new one. Once again, IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES THAT MIGHT OCCUR!!!
