ASUS K8v deluxe vs k8v SE deluxe, what is the difference beside the LAN; Which is a better board, according to performance and included accessories?

As far as I've heard, 'SE' means 'downgraded' (this applies to vcards for sure ) which suggests that of the two boards you mentionned, the first may be better. But in which way, I don't know...

...but I doubt the chipset or performance are be any different. Perhaps the SE may be lacking in certain "extras" such as firewire, onboard 5.1 sound, etc...

A friend of mine called ASUS about the two boards and ASUS reply that the only difference is the LAN. ON the web site the K8v deluxe reads FSB : scalable hypertransport; and k8v SE deluxe reads FSB: 800 MHz hypertransport. (is there actually a differ in the FSB I dont know); however if you label a product SE, its commonly known as a downgrade, I'm just wondering what the presales reps at ASUS might be leaving out as far as what the k8v SE deluxe might be lacking.
