Norton Internet Security and Router

I recently updated my Norton Internet Security 2002, the internet worked for a little while afterwards but then it just laid off. I tried disabling it, and the internet works fine, but it wont work if I enable it again. I tried restarting my modem and router (a D-Link 604), but it wont work. I suspect something isnt enabled internet access, but I cant think of what.
If any help could be given, I would be much obliged, so thanks in advance!

If the 2002 version has a "block all traffic" option like the 2003 version does, make sure it isn't enabled.
Have you tried simply uninstalling and reinstalling the firewall to replace any corrupted files and reset any settings that might have gotten changed?

Thanks! I tried reinstalling it and it worked like a charm. I was a bit hesitant to uninstalling it since I have had some bad experiences with leaving it off for any more than like 10 seconds. But it worked out, thanks!
