Britain Increasing Closed Circuit TVs

LONDON, Aug. 13 — Ever get the feeling someone is watching you? In Britain it is more likely to be true than anywhere else in Europe. A government decision on Monday to broaden the network of roadside speed cameras to cut traffic accidents has raised fresh concerns among civil liberties groups that people’s privacy is being invaded far more than they might care to believe.
Although I believe it's a good thing that can be used well, hidden cameras and closed circuit televisions need to have limits. Saving lives is one thing, but you can go too far and invade one's privacy.
