Config dsl modem NAT with a Netgear Router

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Should the dsl modem and the Netgear Router both serve as NAT'S.? I have a Westell wirespeed modem and the routing table ends in 0.0.0.0.0? Is there a configuration problem b/t the two NATs. Or should I disable the dsl NAT feature.?

most dsl modems only rout to the default gateway and dont do NAT so you dont want to disable it on the netgear. if your having a problem then its most likely your setup (username and password, PPOE or static etc.) or you dont have a filter on one of the lines. does the "dsl" light, light up sold on the dsl modem?
