counterstrike internet connecting

I recently wasmessing around and making a script in my cstrike folder and now have a little problem with connecting to internet games through cs, I also use hlsw and it works fine but, I would like to be able to connect through cs too.. The error says could not connect to server and I play 1.5- steam blows!
