LCD Monitor Purchase

I'm going to get a decent tax return this year, so i'm thinking of buying a decent LCD screen with it, i've looked up a few sites, read-up on what i could, and i've got a bit of an idea on things now.
But i'm really bad when it comes to impulsive buying, so i'm making a list of features that i want it to have, so i don't forget and accidentally buy a $700 monitor with a 120ms responce time
Anyway, here's the list.
1. Dead pixel policy and warranty
- 2/3 year warrenty
- 0 "Switched on" pixels
- No more than 2 Switched off pixels
- Backlighting repair/replacement must be included
2. Response time
- 20ms or below, preferably 16ms or below
3. Size
- 17", 18" if possible
4. Contrast Ratio
- Larger than 400 : 1
5. Luminance/Brightness
- 250cd/m2, Preferably 300cd/m2 or above
6. Resolution
- Wanting over 1280x1024 if possible
- Won't take 1024x768 or below
7. Connectivity
- DVI
8. Viewing angle
- Anything greater than 100/100
9. Shipping
- None, i want to pick it up myself.
I just want to know if there's any aspect i've forgotten, or if there's any feature that i should be expecting better/worse from.
I use this PC mainly for games, internet and DVD's. I really do want a resolution higher than 1280x1024, but with 17"/18" monitors that's a rarity, so i'll settle if i have to.
Also, i want a very good warranty, i won't settle for any pixel screw-ups, if the warrenty has to be bumped down to 1 year to get a zero dead pixel policy, so be it, but i'd prefer it not to be that way.
So any comments, additions, suggestions, model recommendations, etc. will be much appreciated, also some Aussie or US prices would be good too.
Thanks a bundle guys.

dell fp2001, is a solid choice
buy an extended warrenty and live with shipping. it gets shipped anyway to where you would pick it up

there are no lcd moniters with a resolution higher than 1280x1024 under 20 inches, but I'd go with a dell, I have 2x18.1 inch lcd moniters from them and I couldn't be happier.
mine were $449 each with a full 3 year warrenty that covers everything including cables and adapters.
