Warcraft 3 - Installation problem

Hi there!
I have a problem with the installation of Warcraft 3. I just got it fresh
from the store, and when I try to install the software, I get a message that it can't find the CD after about 1/3 of the process. I've tried to re-insert the CD, starting the installation procedure over again, but it did not work. The CD-ROM works great with other CD's. What should I do?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Beste wishes,
Puni

If possible, try installing the game with that disc on another computer. If you still have the same problem, most likely the disc is defective and needs to be replaced.
If you are able to install the game on one or more other machines with that disc without any problems, try copying the contents of the disc to your hard drive and then install the game from there. Also try switching your optical drive's data transfer mode from UDMA/DMA to PIO, that has solved install problems for some people.

Thanks for helping me out, NegotiatorSmith. It seems like there was something physically wrong with the CD, so I got a new one from the store. This CD worked perfect, and I could install the game. Thanks again, and have a nice day!
