Problems Hosting Warcraft 3

Well, this sucks I was able to host before and then my router (linksys wrt54gs) needed to be reset because I couldn't access the admin features. Before I followed the simple steps of opening 6112 and disabling the firewall but now that is not working. I checked my ip on ipconfig and it states exactly what I put in 192.168.1.100. I am stuck and it's really annoying when you can't host a game!!

I think the problem may be the PPPoE on yahoo dsl?? The internet works fine on Auto Config, but I vaguly remember putting in PPPoE before. Would this cause me not to be able to host?

Thank You all for the great help!!

So in the Linksys router's port forwarding settings, you have this?:

6112 6112 TCP 192.168.1.100 (Enable box is checked)

Are you using the port triggering and/or DMZ setting? If you are, clear those settings out and try again.

If your PPPoE settings were incorrect, you wouldn't be able to connect to the Internet at all; the problem has nothing to do with them.

If possible, try bypassing the router and hosting. If you can, then you know that the router is definitely the problem. Also, try having any of the other computers connected to the router host, if possible. I suspect that the router may not be the issue here.

EDIT:

I meant to say that if your PPPoE settings were incorrect, you wouldn't have an Internet connection.

Did you make sure that you didn't have a computer in the DMZ and that you don't have a port triggering entry for port 6112?
