ok my friend came up to me today and asked me if i knew how to fix his comp. he told me he does have the sasser worm and that he cannot execute any programs. i didnt have time to get any specs cuz the school bell rang, but does anyone know what he can do? ill see if i can get more info. but if anyone can help with this limited bit of info then thanks

if he cant run a removal tool, hell have to stick the infected drive in another computer to clean it. thats not a problem as long as the other computer has an updated windows and AV.
note that sasser does not do anything except reboot the computer, so hes probably got something else on there.
