Can I access BNet trough a proxy server?

I just set up a network at home, and i can transfer files, and access internet through my network. (dsl line) When i try to log on to battlenet it says "connecting to fastest server", then says to check my modem. you had a message about this but the page was not found. I would like to play with my sister online at the same time. Please help if you can, thanks. 5/18/04

Yes, you can connect to Battle.net through a proxy server as long as port 6112 TCP outbound isn't being blocked.

Yeah, I don't think that page has been around for quite a while. Here is Blizzard's new page about the error you're getting:

BTW, no one at this site is affiliated with Blizzard... "you" seems to imply that you thought OTS.net was.
