Just posting to say two things here...
I will be getting my SAT results soon. I am hoping they're at least a 1200, I'm shooting for 1300..I'll let everyone know when I get them.
Also, I bought a CD Burner a while ago off on NewEgg. 52x 32x 52x from Lite-On for 32.50...not a bad deal, I think. It arrived yesterday, and I installed it all by myself! Yaay!! This is a big deal because that is my first real hardware install that I've ever done. Glad I didn't screw it up that bad. I wound up losing a mounting screw and it got all jammed in the motherboard, but it came out anf everything is good.
I'm proud of me!!

1300 is definitely possible, I got a 1350 and I'm not even smart. If you wanna hear something crazy though, my cousin scored 1520 when he was 14 and an old family friend of ours scored a perfect 1600. Congrats on your first hardware installment! I remember mine, 8 short months ago!

Just got my scores, like a minuite ago, and guess what?? HA! 1300 exactly for me...I'm happy! Every other time I was getting about 1250 1240, and I always wanted that damn 1300. What do ya know? Finally did it..

I aint even studying for mine. I want to get like a 900 than ill never take them again because i think standardized testing is bull. My mom is making me take them.

"sigh" to each his own i guess. I grew up under the british educational system and i had to take the O'levels which was 8 subjects long, then there was the A'levels which was four subjects long and those four subjects were based on your choice of major in college. If you made it past the o levels, the A levels were sure to give u a nervous breakdown.. maybe you'd prefer that to a simple test of math and english?
