problems with new ram ddr 1024 total

ok so i bought warcraft 3 played got into a game but it shut down and an error msg poped up saying something about my memory. well i ran memtest and found tons of error, 50+, the only problem is i dont know how to work memtest so i dont know wat its telling me and how to fix it. can ney1 plzz help me? 1024 mb ram this stuff wasnt cheap and know its not working ryte. so can some1 plz explain to me wat memetest is telling me... it keeps coming up with errors on test 5

well, first you need to set all your bios settings that could affect the ram to default levels. cpu settings as well. this is not the time to overclock. after youve done that, run memtest on one stick at a time. you do this by removing all the others physically.
if you only get errors on one stick, youve located the problem. if you get errors on all dimms, it still could be the motherboard or something else causing the problem, or it could be only the ram.
