Gamespot has a series of video interviews as well as video clips of the much anticipated Doom 3 game.
All the videos can be accessed from this page as well as other info about Doom 3 and other things that took place at the recent QuakeCon 2001 convention.
Streaming videos available in 56k, cable, and T1.

Holly shit!
I'm not a gamer, (don't have the time), but these games are going in a direction which will blur the lines between reality and fantasy.

I viewed the video. Why is it so dark? Hard to tell all the special effects when it is so dark. If this is the actual game, ewww. Why don't game designers start to lighten up the games so that people can see it, see their opponents, see the scenery. I know it is atmospheric to play in black..but come on.....

Thats true.
I made the mistake of going to a "drive in" to watch the movie "Sniper".
Impossible to see against the sky.
They obviously made it dark to show the light and shadow affects.
You'd think they would have a fire room or something?
