please help

i have trouble running some 95/98 software on XP ? some of it works with trouble most of it will not work at all and being i have $$$ s worth of 95/98 software this @#$$%%@$# ticks me off !!! and i don't want to fall to a scam to buy all new apps or even upgrades that you can't find anyway
yes XP has some good points but now 90% of my software is useless @#$@# with all the Einstiens
in this racket there has to be a way to solve this headache . if i have extra partioned drives can i load a seperate os on each drive and make my choice of OS at startup. right now at start up im asked to choose xp or 98 but it will only start XP
so i think it will work if it's done right or can you make XP run all the older software or do i need to have 3 separate machines now that would tick @$#@$@%@% me off

i hope you have a solution
thanks
TICKED OFF

95 software would be dicey, but you should have no problem with 98 software. most likely, the software is having problems with something else, like your sound, video, or mouse, rather than xp.

xp has compatability modes, give those a whirl.
