Trying to install a usb port/pci card, every time the installation process asks for me to insert windows 98 se.....I no longer have that disk
What do I do?

That is the problem with Win 98SE, I would recommend to upgrade to Win ME with upgrade via win98se. That would be the easy way or then buy the boxed WinME (standalone). Win ME upgrade from 98se will have all the required drivers and is about half the price of the standalone.

You might find a good bargin via one of the Computer nerds magazine, but only accept the real genuie licenced version (with the licence).

If you already have a USB port on your system's motherboard, I would assume that the setup program is looking for hardware drivers. If you have a driver disc for the PCI card, try installing the card by letting Windows search that disc for whatever it is looking for.

If setup wants system files for USB support, then you will need to borrow a friends disc or try and get someone to send you the specific files you need. You could also purchase just the CD (no license) for Win98SE, but it's not very easy to find.
