I have Codebreaker for PS2 and you can manually enter codes for games... I think Gameshark does that too, but I haven't tried it...
Codebreaker has a nice site where you can get cheat codes from:

Haha, is this supported on OTS, Canis??

Cheat codes in console gaming is a non-issue ... all of it is in single player - cheats and hacks that ruin multiplayer experience are the ones frowned upon here... besides, that'll be like saying these pages are illegal and should be banned:
http://www.blizzard.com/war2bne/cheats.shtml
http://www.battle.net/war3/cheatcodes.shtml
http://www.battle.net/scc/cheats.shtml
- but notice those are Blizzard pages
omg, why would they post cheats to their own game! hehe j/k

Comon people dont cheat
Alot of people say you a loser beacuse you cheat; they are wrong, you are the winner. But, how can you claim the honor of finishing the game on your own; using your own brain; and the most important - having fun while playing........
I will never support cheating, its not fun to see a guy finish the game and then see him talk how he is good. I say; finish it on your own, if you arent able to do it, then DONT play; simple; not your type of game...
Cheats should not exist, damn the devs

Yes, cheat codes in consoles should only be used after you have finished the game without them that doesn't mean they are not a necessary "evil" - these codes are used by developers to debug/test their games, and they leave it in so that players can have some fun with them - you did say "having fun" was part of gaming, right?
So, if you're only cheating yourself (single-player), that's fine with me... I don't get insecure by someone claiming to have beaten games so easily - it's only a game, it's not like you are a better person just coz you play better by yourself as long as you don't ruin "my" gaming experience (single or multi), I'm cool with that...
I am more amused by people saying "hey, I beat this game in just 2 hours without cheating! I rule!" than people who ask for cheats in consoles, hehe
