reminds me of the one about a drunk soldier who decided 2 drive back home in a TANK after he had a phone fight with his g/f  he reached the highway but the rampage ended there when he wuz finally stopped by some cops who opened the tank hatch n shot him in the shoulder to disable him .

noticed this thread a little late but this happened around 1997 as well. in the mountain town of alma a man stole a bulldozer and knocked down the town hall, suprised this article didn't mention that. he did it in the middle of the night and was subsequently arrested. something about taxes.
