Everytime I go to the settings tab of display, it freezes my computer. I can't change my color now or my screen size. Any answers?

I'd suggest that you run Scandisk and the Windows 98 system file checker tool, sounds like a Windows system file got corrupted.

Scandisk - http://www.microsoft.com/windows98/...er/scandisk.asp
SFC - http://www.windows-help.net/windows98/start-142.shtml

ran both of these, and it fixed some things, but not my freezing problem. Any other ideas?

does anyone have any other suggestions?

You display driver software might have been damaged.
Is you display driver recognized on the display setting?
Also check via Device Manager for any error text.
