how do we join and make games, because i dont have upd or udp packets (whatever its called i cant join.) my router is smc ipadress is:192.168.2.1

Yes, if you're behind a router, you may need to forward port 6112 UDP to get rid of that error message. If you tell me what model SMC router you have, I can show you exactly how to configure it for Starcraft.

Use the "Virtual Server" feature, not the "Special Applications" feature.
Note that 192.168.2.1 is NOT the correct IP address to forward port 6112 UDP to, as that's your router's IP address. To find out what your computer's internal IP address is, follow these steps:
a. Click Start, click Run, type cmd (Windows 2000/XP) or command (Windows 95/98/Me) in the box and click OK.
b. When the black box (the command prompt) comes up, type ipconfig and hit Enter.
c. Look at what it says next to "IP address".

Okay, then add a virtual server entry with that IP address as the server IP address. Remember, the port is 6112 and the protocol is UDP.

I beg your pardon? You got a virus from forwarding port 6112 UDP to your computer?
First of all, if anything, you'd get a worm. I don't know of any worms that look for a program listening on port 6112 UDP, though. Forwarding port 6112 UDP will NOT jeopardize your computer's security, but putting your computer in your router's DMZ will if you're not behind any other firewalls. Is that what you did, put your computer in the DMZ?
If you really got a virus and not a worm, you got it from downloading something and running it.
Did you go to the link I gave you and follow the instructions? Follow them and you'll be set, I don't need to explain anything in any more detail.

Um Negotiator Because He Opend command prompt and it was a blak window he thought its a virus.
