No System Administrator!?
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I downloaded a free copy of Adobe Photoshop Essentials. Every time I try to use the program it directs me to register. The registration page requires certain information, including my email address, which I dutifully fill in. Adobe then emails me an "unlock code." But when I try to unlock, the registration program won't let me, saying that I need "system administrator" privileges.
This is my computer and I know of no "administrator" other than myself.
What gives?

When your system boots up and you get the Logon screen .. Press Ctrl Alt Del twice .. you will get a logon prompt similar to Window 2000 .. enter Administrator in Username and log in .. viola ...

Thank you for the reply. I tried what you suggested, and don't see a logon screen when my computer boots up.

What version of Windows are you running?

ME--actually, that's why I posted this on the ME board. (-;

Have to ask anyways, posters tend to randomly put their questions/problems just anywhere that looks good.
ME doesn't have the login frontend that 2k and XP does, so hitting CTRL+Alt+Del won't bring up the menu. It has been a while since I used ME so I'll have to look around for this one.
