Hanging when logging in at - current versions

hey guys,
I have diablo ii set up on my server, and when I play it there, it works fine.
I have a second wireless desktop computer that I installed a second diablo ii game (new cd keys) and when logging in I hang at current versions.
I read alot of posts and nothing really helped. The only thing that made me thing someting might be wrong was this:
a tech guy told some guy to type this: nslookup useast.battle.net
This is what came up when I did that:
Server: clmasc-dns-cac-01-dmfe0.sc.rr.com

Any thoughts on this, or anything else that might be causing me to hang?

well... u have problems connecting???
best gateway on battle.net is exodus.battle.net
if u cannot connect wth that 1 try useast.battle.net

well first, have you updated diablo 2 with the latest patch? i think i had that problem once, so instead of updating thru battle.net i downloaded the patch from the official blizzard site and updated from there
if that doesnt work, try connecting to bnet once more, then navigate to your diablo 2 directory, find bnetlog.txt, then copy and paste the contents of that file into your next post, and we will go from there
