can't even connect to b.net on SC

When i try to connect to battle.net through starcraft the following message appears (word for word):
"Unable to connect to Battle.net. If you are using a modem to access your service provider and are not configured for Dialup Networking, you may have to initiate the conncection manually."
.....and i have cable

Have you ever connected to Battle.Net before, or is this your first time? Are you using Windows XP? Do you have a firewall or router attached to your broadband connection?

Can You Connect To Any Websites???
if u cant u might wanna restart your computer and if that dosent work u may wanna contact your isp (internet service provider)
