Monitor Doesn't support cinematic resolution?

I just got Warcraft 3 and everything plays great except the cinematics, apparently the monitor, wich is a little old does not support the exact resolution that the cinematics use. I tried manualy changing them in the registery but that didn't help. I can view them with windows media player outside the game so its obviously not from my credit card its from the monitor, I know that because I remember the monitor going black too on that resolution the WC3 cinematics use.
Is there any way to fix that? any tools or whatever I can download?
Oh BTW if there was no way to fix that, How can I view the WC3 main INTRO? its not located in the warcraft3\movies folder.

Anyway, how old is your monitor? And what brand/model is it, maybe we can scrounge up some INF files for it so it supports your video card... and what resolution are you right now?

lol..
well the monitor does not support more than 1024/768 , I always play on 800/600.
sucks terribly I know lol ..but I'm upgrading my pc part by part...the monitor will come later.
the cinematics play on 320/200 wich the monitor cannot "see" for some reason.
I tried setting the desktop to 640/480 before playing bit it didnt help either.
any ideas?
